Today is the French National day. For a lot of French families, it means the beginning of the summer holidays. Both directions, roads to the South coast and the West coast are going to be very busy.
Les Sables d’Olonne is one of the most popular destination and probably one the biggest seaside in France. It is a special place for me. I spend most of my childhood playing on its beach with my brother, my grandmother and my parents before starting nightclubbing and enjoying lazy afternoons with group of friends. Too many wonderful memories and I can’t tell how many times I walked this promenade (see the picture above). Happy holidays everyone.
