Between Orient, Europe & Asia the city of Istanbul is a uniquely cosmopolitan place with a culture and character shaped by the influence of three continents, where life follows the flow of the Golden Horn, the Sea of Marmara and the Bosphorus. Wherever you wander its streets, the city has a special and indescribable feeling. This is probably why its character has influenced the work of so many artists and writers. I personally feel this emotion even more strongly when walking its shores. It has a very special light and feeling of quietness despite its 16 million people. Istanbul is one one of those cities where you can feel history, splendour and greatness.
So here is the story of my journey in Istanbul. I will certainly go back soon to explore further its streets and to find an answer about this indescribable feeling.
