I like this scene of life of these two ladies having a chat while feeding pigeons around Notre Dame de Paris. I don’t know whether they knew each other or whether they were friends but they were certainly regulars coming here in this particular place to feed pigeons with crumbs

On a hot summer day, a man is reading a book on the Seine river bank, Paris – 2006. This is one of my early picture taken during a wander in the street of Paris. I used to walk endlessly the streets of Paris before leaving the French capital. I remembered stopping at this place.

I lived for seven years in Paris and never visited the famous Avenue Des Champs Elysées for the purpose of taking pictures of it. It is more likely to be a tourist spot disfigured by global brand stores in between luxury and tourist shops. I never found it attractive and in my opinion

About

Expressing myself between documentary and street photography, my work focus on long term projects because of the human aspect, but also to have better insight and understanding of a situation over time. Photography is a medium that allows me to explore the cultural and sociological aspects of life in order to understand the relationship between the people, their traditions/habits/cultures and their environment. In recent years I have worked on separate long term projects about the Medinas of Morocco and more recently the Yamuna river in India.
