Street Photography Workshop in Bristol

November 21st, 2011

The portfolio above is currently part of my project: Unobserved Bristol

The workshop

Street photography is all about capturing street life and culture in an urban environment. It is in some ways very close to documentary photography. I personally believe that street photography, like a historical book, allows us to understand and visually look back at how people used to live and behave in their everyday environment. Get ready to experience the vibrant city centre of Bristol and immerse yourself in its streets to document its British culture from Broadmead to Harbourside.

What to expect?

During this one day photography workshop, I will give you advice on how to approach street photography, understanding composition, playing with light & shade and capturing moments of life while developing your own vision of the world.

Who can attend the workshop?

Photographers who have a keen interest in street photography and documentary photography and who want to progress in this area.
