I like this scene of life of these two ladies having a chat while feeding pigeons around Notre Dame de Paris. I don’t know whether they knew each other or whether they were friends but they were certainly regulars coming here in this particular place to feed pigeons with crumbs

I took this picture on my second visit of Marrakesh as part of my project about the Moroccan Medina, in October 2011. Unlike Fez, roads run through its ramparts allowing traffic inside the Medina. I was walking on one of the main roads near the Mellah of Marrakech when I spotted the f

I was on my way to Khari Baoli when I took this picture in the Old Town of Delhi. I was interested in the various blue tones and the two Indian men who I thought would be well placed to make this composition. India is a unique country for colour and texture, and hence a perfect playgr

About

Expressing myself between documentary and street photography, my work focus on long term projects because of the human aspect, but also to have better insight and understanding of a situation over time. Photography is a medium that allows me to explore the cultural and sociological aspects of life in order to understand the relationship between the people, their traditions/habits/cultures and their environment. In recent years I have worked on separate long term projects about the Medinas of Morocco and more recently the Yamuna river in India.
