Situated in the Himalaya range, the Manaslu mountain is among the highest mountains in the world (more than 8160m).
Less travelled than some treks around the Annapurna or the Everest, it offers a great variety of landscapes through an area mainly influenced by Tibetan culture and shamanic buddhism.
The trek started at Bhulbule (840m), Lamjung district. We then slowly walk up to go through Jagat, Tilche before getting Bimtang (3700m). Then, the path joined Dharamasla before reaching its highest point at Larky pass (5150m) and before following a trading road along the Tibetan border. The path go through some poor and isolated villages like Samdo, Samagaon et Namrung. Then it joined the Buri Gandaki river to get to Lapsibot and Arkhet Bazar.
